Lol, typical Hearn tactic. Mention the top name, target the easier one. No way is he putting him in there with Bud.
"...Eddie Hearn confirmed that he's working hard to finalize the Broner fight, but also has Crawford on the list as well."

Good news for Crawford can add the WBA belt , then all he will need after that is the fight with Troyanovsky (IBF/IBO)

Why not? Its cash out time for Burns and both fights will probably be 7 figure pay days being a unification clash in Crawford's case. Burns has already fought him once, what is their to be scared of?

Burns is definitely cashing out. There is no way that he seriously thinks he would beat Crawford. His next fight is probably his last one, unless he beats Broner or Crawford by some miracle... If Crawford is going to stay at 140 (he should move up in my opinion), he might as well unify all belts at the division (this is an overrated concept to me). Crawford is the clear best at the division. Hopefully, he hurries up and fight the other title holders and move up... I haven't heard much ridiculous stuff from Broner. Maybe he's taking boxing seriously again. With more focus, he would be in a lot better position.

Because he was schooled by the guy in his own home country and Terrance has only gotten better.
Where's the cash in choosing Crawford? Makes no strategic or financial sense. Hearn is a shyster but he's no idiot. He's got no intention on Crawford right now. Broner is a bigger name and far easier opponent.

Eddie Hearn is a boxing promoter; he's just not skivvy about it. His goal, first and foremost, is to deliver the biggest event possible for Sky Sports, before then looking to maximize the opportunity for the fighter that he represents.

Burns-Broner, for the WBA 140 title in Las Vegas (hosted by MGM Resorts) is the biggest fight that he could possibly secure for Ricky Burns at the moment; if that falls through, the next fight, though a far smaller potential event, is Crawford-Burns II for the WBC/WBA/WBO 140lb belts (whether that event is big enough to draw Vegas interest is beyond me).

Why hate the man for doing his job?

                  EXACTLY

Its still a unification fight and will be lucrative. Doesn't necessarily have to be in Vegas - if its Crawford II they can bring him back to the UK now with a far bigger reputation and regarded as p4p one of the best fighters on the planet, and its for all those belts.

Obviously Broner in the US is THE FIGHT, but as you said you always have to have fall back options.
