  • Comments Thread For: De La Hoya: Fury Will Beat Drug Problem - I Believe in Him!

Golden Boy Promotions CEO and former six division world champion Oscar De La Hoya says battling ******* addiction is the toughest fight there is -- but he's confident IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Tyson Fury can beat his drug problem ... as long as he gets help.

A drug with no physical withdrawal being "the hardest fight" is as dubious a claim as when they said Pac beat May with one arm.

The fact of the matter is, ******* use is often a symptom of something else far more serious that needs addressing with him.

If evangelical cunts like Oscar want to help, then put up or shut up.

What's ironic is that Oscar still has his drug issues. He does not know if Fury will overcome his issues since drugs arent easy to overcome. Oscar should know this more than anyone.

******* addiction is nothing compared to heroin. I was addicted to both at various points in my life and i can honestly say it was harder to quit smoking than to quit ******* while heroin is a back and forth battle i will be fighting the rest of my life.

Here come the disgusting comments from the armchair goofballs.

For those with addictions and/or mental illnesses... the 2 often go hand-in-hand, and can often times be lifelong problems. A classic example of a fighter who had maybe the worst addiction and mental issues was Johnny Tapia. Great fighter, terrible mental problems and addictions.

I'll take the high road and wish Fury the best and hope for his full recovery.
