Am I the only one who thinks that GGG is remaing at 160 bc he wants....

A career high payday to fight Ronaldo McDonald? Personally I think he'll take the 10 million he's being offered. At the most, maybe his team can negotiate another 2 or 3 million and I think that's what is being done. No way he passes up that much money.

Let's face it: There isn't much for him at 160. Beating Jacobs and Saunders would be ok if he remains in the division, but I don't think they're all that much of a challenge. Saunders doesn't seem like he wants the fight with him or anyone with a pulse for that matter.

Now I know the consensus among the detractors is "Lil Mark Ass Buster G be a chump who scurred a dem bigger bruvas" etc but I seriously doubt he's "scared". I think he's not moving up because he knows that he won't get anywhere near as much money fighting anyone at 168. I don't even think he'd make that much fighting the winner or loser of Ward-Kovalev. Seems to me that he's choosing money over legacy, which seems to be the norm nowadays. As a fan of Golovkin, I don't like it. I've been saying for a while now that he should move up.

    What say you, buttcracks?

No poll is included and you can all go fuck yourselves if you don't like it.

No he's staying at 160 because he has a goal to fully unify the glamour division of boxing. A rare feat only matched by an exclusive club..

Saunders & Jacobs are no worse than Jack & Degale at 168. Ronald McDonald is currently fighting Quillin next anyway.

Moving up in weight is a challenge in it of itself. And I thought Quillin was moving up to 168?

of course. it's the biggest fight he'll ever have, in terms of both money and legacy. it would be ******ed to ditch that opportunity in favour of someone like degale or ramirez. moving up to 168 can be the cherry on top of his career if he ever manages to finish his business at 160

You wouldn't credit him even if he did anyway. You'd still ride him like a Blackpool donkey after the event so stop pretending otherwise..

i want him to move up too. i would love to see him vs the winner of degale-jack (if that fight actually happens) but he will probably remain at 160 next year too.

Huh? I'm a pretty big fan of Golovkin. I said that in the first post and many times before.
