Perfect date to avoid Kovalev-Ward winner. What a disgrace. Wouldn't be surprised if something fishy is behind.

Sauerland will make sure the rematch is in Germany since Braehmer will never fight away from home. It's paper belt, but Cleverly should enjoy it while he can

Sauerland would never let Braehmer get slaughtered by the winner of Kovalev-Ward, so the timing doesn't matter. If Braehmer wins the rematch, he goes back to beating up overmatched local fighters and calling them "title defenses."

So Braehmer fakes injury and gives away a belt in a fight he was probably winning to avoid a clash with a LHW kingpin? This is probably reaching, and I don't particularly trust Sauerland or Braehmer - they could just say 'Nah thanks, we don't fancy it' when the WBA came knocking and almost no-one would give a damn.
