    Good.

Being live at the fight, it was clear that Linares won the first 3 rounds and the crowd started to get unsettled but then Crolla did fantastic in the middle of the fight and Linares was just throwing arm punches.

It looked like the upset was on but then (I don't know hwy because he doesn't normally gas) Crolla gave it up in the championship rounds. I had the fight even going into the 11th and Linares won both those rounds.

Did the Venezuelan find his second win? That would be a first.

Oh and one of those cards was too damn wide.

This is what sours me on these people.
Butthurt ass, sore losers. You can bet your ass if Crolla had won there would be no rematch.
They abuse the fact that Linares has balls and has no qualms about having the deck stacked against him.
The are just butthurt "global boxing superpower" UK has lost 3 belts in two weeks. How quickly that "lots of champions" bs is going down the drain.

That's a nice spin, by the way. That's the only card that was right.
The other typical british robbery Eddie Hearn-approved Split Decision cards were the ones that should result in jail sentences for attempted robbery.
One more round and Crolla would've won. That's bull**** and you know it.

It was a close fight, maybe if you watched it as a boxing fan and not an idiot looking for conspiracies, you would see it that way too.

I wouldn't be too bothered if there wasn't a rematch. I thought Linares won fairly comfortably in the end but it wasn't a bad fight at all so i'm sure i'd watch it.

I like Crolla though and glad the fight got made. He could have easily dined out on his belt a bit longer as he sells decent amounts of tickets in Manchester regardless but he wanted the fight. That said, part of me thinks they thought Linares is a bit shot and saw Mitchell give him a great fight and thought they could put his name on their record. The thing is, i think Mitchell on his day was much more talented than Crolla.

I don't see much of a different outcome in a rematch really.

I think it's worthy of a rematch. In the end I too thought it was a fairly comfortable win. Regardless I look forward to the rematch and it looks like both fighters are up for it.

              It wasnt close at all.

two of the card's were far too close. you clearly did not have a good view where you were sitting and/or you were being influenced by the crowd.

' crolla gave it up in the final rounds'

no mate he didnt, he was being battered by linares, he didnt have any say in the matter lol..

Ah, the good ol' ad hominem...
Clearly the truth about this result bothers you.
There seems to be obvious bias from you for Crolla, especially since you say you saw the fight live. Can't imagine you were rooting for Linares.
Perhaps your seats were in front of the bathrooms cause that is the only way you saw that fight being close.

If you mean close as in competitive, yeah it was close in the sense that Crolla did some decent work in parts of the bout.
But fights are scored by rounds and in that sense, the fight was extremely easy to score.
No other result other than a competitive but clear and definitive points win for Linares would have been fair.
Those 115-113 and 115-114 scorecards were a complete disgrace.

honestly i'd prefer linares-zlaticanin and crolla-flanagan. the fight last night had some good action but linares won decisively in the end. however i can see why linares would want the rematch since it's probably still his biggest payday in the division, and it wouldn't be the worst rematch ever anyway
