Comments Thread For: Casimero Retains, Takes Out Charlie Edwards in Ten Rounds

Missed it! Time error, thinking Philippine time. Charlie was a long shot, I don't understand how he got the shot with only 8 fights.

Money and hoping he would get to the decision.
The British commentators were seemingly giving Edwards rounds for practically surviving.

This is odd for UK boxing. Japanese and Koreans rush their prospects, but not in the UK. And why today? Doubling up on their losses.

Thats not their norm, but I guess they thought they saw an opportunity and thought they didnt have much to lose and a lot to gain. I mean, who knows what the scorecards were, but the commentators were making it seem like he could have worked his way back into the fight in a fight where Casimero looked like he was putting a 10% effort and I had it maybe 9-0 for Casimero or 8-1 if I felt a bit bad for Edwards when the fight was stopped.

UK broadcasts talk almost obsessively about the number of world champs they have. Before the fight started they were already saying imagine how many world champs they would have if Edwards and Brook won. I think its going to their heads a bit.
