Was anyone shocked that Quigg/Frampton flopped worse than Bellew/Cleverly 2?

    Was anyone shocked that Quigg/Frampton flopped worse than Bellew/Cleverly 2?

    The fight ******, there was almost no excitement for the fight, and it flopped on PPV. Eddie Hearn lost money on the fight because the numbers were that bad. Bellew/Clev 2 actually drew a lot more PPV buys than the fight.

    It was that bad that Quigg, Frampton, and Selby will never be on PPV again. I think it could be the weight issue. I don't think we'll ever see PPV's for lower than Welterweight fighters ever again.

    yeah im not that suprised, frampton wasnt a sky sports fighter and quigg was a pretty small name really. The trash talk was pretty crap too compared to bellew v cleverly, and the first fight was a decent scrap (a lot better than the rematch). Plus as you say the small weights are fighting a losing battle over here. Why i dont think a selby v frampton match is that big either
