You can also say that the reason everyone wants Canelo is for the payday while Triple G keeps lowballing anyone with a pulse its simple take a pay cut offer Saunders a few more millions get hus belt and guess what make that money on other fight because at 160 all roads will lead to Triple G but hey his a business man bro.

I think GGG's team should not bring up Canelo ever again. There is no doubt in anybody's mind who follows the sport, that Canelo is afraid of GGG. Even Canelo's own team has said it, time to move on and forget about that fight.

Has nothing to do with being scared. People don't want to fight GGG because he is not worth it. He doesn't bring the career paydays that Canelo brings. If GGG was a PPV draw people would be lining up to fight him. Canelo's last few opponents have made 3-5 times more than GGG's career paydays.
Back in the day Mike Tyson wasn't just knocking people out, he was changing their lives with devastating KO losses. Didn't stop guys left and right from calling Tyson out and stepping in the ring with the guy because he brought the money.

I for one, understand GGG's logic for staying put at 160 and trying clean house before any other moves. First of all, he has a chance to be one of a few guys to ever hold every single belt at middleweight. I mean, think of it this way, if these guys would hurry up and fight him, he would have all the belts already and we wouldn't be having this Convo. And another thing is that he's clearly trying to break Hopkins record of middleweight defences. Another piece of good history right there. Why do you think Hopkins sounds so bitter every time he talks about him. He desperately wants him out of middleweight.

To your other point, Saunders is milking the hell out that title. He's ducking everybody. You g back to the point I was making, these guys are supposed to be prizefighters and not businessmen. Would you buy a PPV to watch any fighter go to the bank and sign papers or invest in a property or something? I don't think you would. This is the fight game. This is boxing.

Saunders already said multiple times 4 million and the fight happens guess what Saunders could be getting his 4 mill next year cus I sure as hell don't think they will put Canelo vs Saunders on regular HBO.

GGG has tried to fighting everybody in his weight and all you hear is excuses from other champions and contenders alike. You really can't force people to sign or better yet, actually get in the ring with you if they have obvious fear. I'm gonna start by clearing something up, I like GGG alot for the fact that he's not only entertaining but also very good. That being said, when you see him in the ring with just about everybody, he looks smaller than his opponents. Andre ward on the other hand, fought one division north and looked like a beast at 168 sizewise and still does at 175. He's way too strong and too physical to put GGG in there with. I'm not one of those that just cuz I'm a fan of triple g that I think he can beat him. I mean, crazier things have happened but from what I have seen from both and the styles they possess, ward is all wrong for him.

Now back to canelo. He and his handlers are making a million excuses. He bulks up far bigger than triple g to be saying his body is not ready. It's an outright duck, plain and simple. Fighters like him and Floyd have disrespected the paying public and it's time we take a stand. I understand the fighters, promoters and networks or people involved when they say boxing is a business and these guys have a right to make money. What gets me is when I hear "fans" echoing those words. You can't have it both ways. Don't be a sheep, you have to think for yourself and see that although it is a business, we as fans control who makes money. We have all the real power to force fights and people are just not using it.

It's a shame that people listen to the promoters and networks when they say, on this is the big superstar money maker so everything runs through him. They are exploiting us and making us pay for fights not worth seeing. People can cry about Crawford vs Pistol being a PPV all they want but the reality is that, when you have the 2 best guys at the weight fighting each other, that's worth paying for.

We need to take back boxing and make it so a fighters legacy is based on in ring accomplishments rather than how popular he is. If canelo didn't have red hair, he would be just another Mexican good, not great fighter. He has a lot to prove and we ha e to set the bar higher. Hope you guys enjoy this read and sorry that it was so long but I really needed to vent that. I love this sport and I hate the direction it's headed.

You said it best, ggg has chased everyone in "his" division. Clearly he's not worried about unifying the division anymore. If he wants money fights he can move up to SMW or come chase Canelo at 154. If ggg wants fights he needs to move up or down weight but it's clear he has no intention of ever leaving 160. Ggg and his team are busy calling out opponents and expecting them to come to GGG's natural weight and fight him where he's most comfortable. Time for him to test himself or shut up already
