        Yes that is correct

"Yesterday we reported that Filipino sources had suggested that WBO Super Flyweight champion Naoya Inoue (11-0, 9) [井上 尚弥] would return to the ring in December for a unification bout with newly crowned IBF kingpin Jerwin Ancajas (25-1-1, 16). Today Mr Ohashi stated that parts of that were indeed right.

At a press conference this morning Mr Ohashi stated that Inoue would be in action in December, if his injuries have cleared up, and would be hoping to unify his title. The key difference is that it wasn't the IBF title of Ancajas that he was after but instead the WBA title of Luis Concepcion (35-4, 24)."

I hope Naoya waits atleast for summer/autumn 2017 for the Roman unification, he is NOT ready yet, i rate Naoya very highly but he needs to work on his defense, he is elusive and hard to hit most of the time but some silly shots are getting thru his guard and he does get hit flush sometimes

Think it's all talk. Can't go from domestic fights to Roman.

From Inoues interview, it doesn't sound like he wants Roman, he himself said with a performance like that, he isn't ready for a big fight. It's his manager who says they will look to negotiate with Roman after that particular fight, which isn't a given for Roman.

I think Inoue will unify against one of the lesser title holders for now and check his hand out.

Awesome! This is how boxing is supposed to work, instead of all the marinating bull****. Good on both Roman and Inoue for chasing the best fights! I hope we see this by January or May at the latest! Time to step up your game HBO!

And then I really want to see these guys against Rigondeaux at 118. That is a great style clash.

Domestic fights? Some sources selected Inoue as FOTY in 2014! He's jumped right into big fights as a pro.

Did you ignore his last three opponents? His comp after he won the belt isn't something to talk about and then to go from that to Roman? He needs more experience he's too raw right now.

He's such a sublime talent. In my opinion, he would beat Cuadras now because he's faster, moves better, has more pop. He has that kind of power that smashes through opponents guards. You don't see that very often.
