  • Comments Thread For: David Haye Paying No Attention To Shannon Briggs Trash Talk

Two division world champion David Haye (28-2, 26KOs) is brushing off the trash talk from former WBO heavyweight champion Shannon Briggs. A few days ago, Briggs (60-6-1, 53KOs) lashed out at Haye, claiming the British heavyweight has fallen off the map and stopped returning his calls for a fight.

I'm sorry, but Haye is ducking. Briggs did his part, and even if he wouldnt last against Haye, at least he believes he can take him out.

The fight would certainly be an entertaining event from press conferences up to the fight.

Haye is a straight chichenshyt queen. Briggs did what you asked him to and you you're still ducking him?? Come on. Haye's plan is to fight complete no-hopers until an easy title shot opens up. Look how quickly he spoke up when Browne won the belt. No heart. No desire to earn his way back into relevance. Just an entitled queen.

'Amir' Haye all talk and very little action , I will be glad when these jokers who rip off the public with the fights they won't take are out of the sport .

Why is Haye ducking Briggs? Thought they was supposed to fight?

Haye is a foolish man to not realise this further ruins his already poor record with fight negotiations and dropping out.

If not injury, then money, changing opponents, he’s very inactive. People will be less willing to sign up to fight him and he’s winding up with fewer fights, less money, and running out of time.

Haye is a businessman, He is only interested in his image and the number of zero's in his account.

The retiring and becoming an actor at 30 failed.
                    His marriage failed.
His 'comeback' will fail as soon as he actually fights someone that isnt a can.

He has zero interest in fighting anyone of note and is conning the british boxing public, the reason he is now ducking a 50 year old, is on the off chance that he get's sparked by briggs he knows he won't be able to comeback for one last bigpayday.

Whereas if he fight's a B/C level contender next and loses to say for example a Povetkin or someone of similar ilk he can still come back for one last big payday Vs AJ.
