Damn! I thought about a bet on this fight but didn't do it! Angulo is pretty much shot at anywhere near world level and Hernandez was around 7/1 or 8/1 (+700 / +800)

Damn another upset last night? That said Angulo has seemed basically done for awhile now if I'm being honest so this one seems less surprising to me than Guerrero losing to a manufactured record mfer. Plus Hernandez was a solid enough guy at one point & has been in with several prospects & contenders some of whom he beat, even if he's past prime now.

I thought Gausha lost too, meaning all 3 were upsets, all 3 were mismatches on paper.

That's crazy, no one should be 8 to 1 dog vs Angulo. He has 1 good win in 4 years.

Angulo looks like a shot fighter he can't pull the trigger and he can't get out the way of punches that Kirkland Ko ruined the guy

For sure they shouldn't at this stage of his career. Not anyone with a 'winning' record anyway.

Yeah the Kirkland KO was seriously punishing. Never watched the fight at the time but saw it recently. That kind of beating when you're tired can shorten a career - easy to say with hindsight but when it was obvious he was spent (end of 1st round from memory, went on until end of 6th?!!?) his corner should have pulled him out, saved for another day.

Angulo would have been better off wearing catcher's mitts instead of boxing gloves.
