They changed their minds. Without uttering those exact words, that's essentially how Oscar De La Hoya explained Wednesday the decision for Canelo Alvarez to face Liam Smith in his next fight instead of Gennady Golovkin.

Dude comes into the ring weighing 180 pounds. He might not even make weight for his fight against Smith.

Well according to Canelo, Oscar he's moving up weight after the Smith fight.

Of course it's a I'll believe it when I see it situation. Canelo isn't a small guy and packs on a lot of weight after weigh ins.

Who gives a **** what he weighs AFTER the weigh in as long as he makes the weight.

You ****ing Cuck boys won't shut the **** up and are literally trying to force Canelo to move up to 160 and fight lil Cuck. You guys can't force shlt with the boxing cash cow. Stick to making welterweights move up

Oscar is under the mistaken perception that Canelo is a ppv superstar and that he can still do good ppv numbers despite not giving the fans the fight they wanna see (like mayweather and pac did) . That's not gonna happen with Canelo, this fight is gonna bomb in ppv sales and Canelo's status will continue to take a hit with real boxing fans. Bad management.

Dumb ass hater.....you suffer from a deep unconscious disease....it's called the problematic hermeneutics of a relativistic epistemology, mixed with a narcissistic unresolved oedipal complex.....you would not understand if I explained it, so lets just say you need to take my word for it...

These tw@ts think we have short term memory issues or something...this motherfker fought Josesito Lopez, Mosley, Khan for the love of god...what a pu$$y delahoya turned out to be...Golden Coward Promotions. Those guys can come up to fight you but you can't do four pounds as the LINEAL CHAMPION. See this is the shh that pisses me off...I know it's a business but since when do lineal champions vacate to avoid a fight, since when is that COOL?

Canelo got forced into going back down to 154 just to make it look like he did not duck GGG....but the whole world knows he ducked GGG, except for the GGG haters and the Canelo lovers....Canelo looked ill trying to make 155 for Khan....Canelo is going to make himself so weak with no stamina trying to make 154...and Liam Smith has no quit in him.....I watched Liam Smith at ringside during training....Smith is very strong and he goes to the body better than Canelo...Smith was pushing 168 pounders around in the ring and these were some of Englands best boxers...Canelo is in for a long night if he does not end it early....
