Comments Thread For: DeGale: George Groves is Looking at Me Because He's Desperate

IBF super middleweight champion James DeGale (23-1, 14KOs) is not being baited into a fight by his domestic rival, George Groves. 30-year-old DeGale was riding high when he turned pro, with an Olympic gold medal victory leading his path. But his career hit a wall when he suffered his only career defeat in May of 2011, to Groves on a twelve round majority decision.

As much as I'd like a rematch, DeGale is right. Groves hsould ideally rematch Jack first, they had a damn close fight first time round.

screw these recycled european matches yes their fight was verryyy close but they should have an elimination have degale fight jack, ramirez fight fight groves or vice versa what i want to see is lazy ass degale who fights in spurts takeon the new kid on the block ramirez if porky with his disorganized offense and awkuard style gave him fits wouldlike to see what ramirez educated jab respectable power in both hands his liver punches could even make degale less active degale is a great fighter but he seems tolackwhat ramirez has in abundance desire to be great even though hes champ hes still very very hungry and calling out ggg on numerous ocasions even when ggg had nothing booked he said canelo gave you his belts fight meinstead it will be only for mybelt keepyour middleweight belt bcause i dont intend to keep them i think ramirez willmake him fight because if he keeps his passive style hell find himself behind on the scorecards b4 he evenblinks.

If Degale is content to not give Groves a rematch, and can live with the man who beat him then I have to conclude that Degale is scared of Groves. Money, positioning, none of that stuff matters except revenge. I'd grant Groves a rematch in a heart beat.

Wow! What a sissy move by DeGale. This is the guy who gave you the only defeat in your career.. and you're worried about WHY he wants to fight you again?

It's the chance to revenge yourself. Have some pride you wanker.
