Comments Thread For: Loeffler: If Golovkin Has Off-Night, He Could Lose Like Klitschko

Tom Loeffler, promoter for WBA/IBO/WBC/IBF middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (35-0, 32KOs), says the possibility of an upset is always there if his fighter is not 100% in the ring. And because of that, the entire team is taking Kell Brook (36-0, 25KOs) very seriously.

I'm not sure this is true because how would the brick make it through their digestive system all the way to their ******** in the first place? I'm not sure bricks are edible for dogs.

Klitchko didn't have an off night...I said Fury would win 1 year before the fight was announced. Klitchko isn't use to fighting a guy bigger with a longer reach them him.

You know it's a cherry pick and a bum ass fight when you have your promoter trying to big up the other fighter in beating your fighter. When De La Hoya was going on, and on how Khan could beat Canelo because he lost to Pacquiao who was smaller, you knew we all knew Khan was getting his chin shattered.

When it's a serious threat like when Canelo was fighting: Lara, Floyd, etc.. It was I have the blue print and Canelo is the goods. Now fast forward to lil g. EVERYBODY knows this is a cherry pick, so of course Loeffler is saying how Brook can pull off the huge upset this that in the third. If it was truly a close match up like they claim, you would not need to convince the fans why the MASSIVE underdog is going to win, or might win.

With Ward vs Kovalev this is truly a 50/50 fight in the eyes of the public. Some people pick Kovalev for his power and some people are picking Ward for his boxing IQ, and defense. Same with Thurman vs Porter, Frampton vs Leo, when it's close on paper and the people know it you don't have to try and convince them the other guy might win.

The fact that lil g is fighting a WW and out of his own mouth said this will be the toughest challenge of his career and he is 34 years old says it all.
