Comments Thread For: Golovkin's Promoter: Froch Said He Was Too Big - Then Retired!

Last week, former super middleweight champion Carl Froch was very critical of WBC/IBO/WBA/IBF middleweight king Gennady Golovkin (35-0, 32KOs) - stating that the unbeaten puncher was facing undersized competition and refusing to move up in weight to pursue bigger competition.

I find it funny when the same guys that ducked Golovkin (Canelo, Froch, Ward) are always the ones making negative comments about him. They should be more like BJS and Martinez and admit he's simply too much of a risk and it's better to just not fight him.

Froch did not duck Golovkin, he retired, there's a difference. Froch ducks no man. GGG did not want 168.

I find it funny when people say Ward ducked Golovkin.

Loved that he called out Froch on that ***** move. They were in talks for months until Froch just suddenly retired.

He posted a pic with the caption "too big and too strong for GGG", then literally retired like 1 week later. Thats some weak s****, thats like saying you will beat someones ass then moving to another city after they want to fight you lol
