Comments Thread For: Roy Jones Jr. Tears Right Bicep, Admits Career Could Be Over

Former four division world champion Roy Jones Jr. (64-9, 46 KOs) suffered a serious injury during his lopsided ten round unanimous decision win over journeyman Rodney Moore (17-12-2, 7 KOs). There wasn't much action with Jones boxing his way to victory. All three judges saw it 100-90.

Its funny because I was just looking at Jones pic in the other article noticing the size difference between his left and right arms. His left looks like a cruiser and his right looks like a middle in that pic.

I hope Roy recovers quickly and can retire when his mind tells him to rather than when his body forces him to.

That's a blessing in disguise. Roy has to get out before he gets hurt.

Now I know how baseball fans felt watching the immortal best center fielder ever Willie mays playing for the mets at his end falling and tripping over his feet a shell of himself disgracing his memory that's how I feel watching the Roy who beat Hopkins and Toney fight now it's so sad

Well he can still talk for the time being and get around just fine. So he could be a lot worse. Listen to James Toney. I'd rather see him not get that bad.

It depends if it's just a muscle or if the tendon was involved last week Rob Ninkovich the linebacker 4 New England tore his, but it was just the muscle.. he's only supposed to be out 4 to 6 weeks... regardless Jones needs to hang it up he shows nothing...
