We love you Santa Cruz!!! Great person, great fighter!! You won that fight champ, we all know it. Even Frampton recognized it at the end, thats why he offered the rematch ASAP. You are one of my fav fighters!!!

Santa Cruz DID NOT win that fight. You must have been puffin on some excellent ganja that night?

Close fight, tons of swing rounds. Even the early rounds that Frampton was looking flashy he was being countered and hit with less flashier stuff that got swept under the rug, yet people got a boner when Santa Cruz lost his balance in the second round and even Framoton knew he wasn't hurt which is why he backed off instead of try to get him out of there. I have no problem with the decision but a draw would have been fine too. No one was the CLEAR winner that night it's just That Framptons technique resonates better with fans and judges. Plain and simple. Frannlton couldn't dodge a jab to save his life. Go REWATCH The FIGHT.

Never ceases to amaze me how many Mexican boxers never lose in the eyes of Mexican fans. Carl Frampton won convincingly and wasn't controversial in the least. Yeah Leo finished strong but it was a little too late.

Just to clarify, I'm not Mexican. And I'm not a fan of specifically Mexican boxers. I could rattle off my top five favs and only one Mexican comes to mind.

NOT saying this is geared towards me, I'm just letting you know that you're analysis is not entirely correct.

NOT saying Santa Cruz one the fight either.

Yeah, you on it. Your comment warms my heart. LOL

But dang, this delusional whinging by LSC sorta reminds me of Donaire after Rigondeaux's master class.

Santa Cruz/Frampton was a hell of a fight. Frampton won a very close fight. Down the road a fight will eventually happen. Just not next.

My guess Leo gets the Cuellar/Mares winner. Frampton fights either Shelby or Warrington next.

Frampton is Fighter of the Year so far in my opinion.

I like both fighters, and have been a fan of LSC even when most were criticizing his level of opposition a couple of years ago, however he clearly lost imo.

I was amazed at the fact the fight was in NYC with LSC being the champ though, I assume Haymon will pull for Vegas this time out.

"...We all know it...". Hey bubba, don't speak for me and the majority of those who watched it. Your bwaaaay was schooled by a fighter with more talent. Get over it. Life goes on. Keep up the phony b.s. and you'll just keep being snickered at. Not such a good look, friend.

Leo didn't lose his balance friend, he was flat out clocked and practically dropped. Most of us aren't into that 'I'll buy any b.s. sent my way' mode. As for the rest of the fight, Frampton was schooling Mr One Note Leo all night. Yes, Leo connected some, yes he won some rounds, but not a majority of them.

They're mainly listening to Leo whine about how supposedly the crowd caused him to lose.

It's an odd phenomena how a fighter who clearly lost just can't accept it. Then he starts the ball rolling, whining about it, then his fans go off whining about it. Meanwhile, the guy just flat out lost. That can't be changed, no matter how much the loser can't stand it happened... and keeps denying it happened.
