what a incredible surprise......in the middle of commitment, why does pacquiao rejected elorde as his manager? many knew elorde's capabilities, and maybe manny isn't happy of the way elorde managing him. manny make his move,we must respect his decision. i hope he do the right thing....especially this is for his own sake....

Elorde was offering him PEANUTS compare to what Marty would be recieving in the long run as Mannys manager. I don't see how Finkle is any worse than Elorde so it shouldn't be a problem. i would want him to stay as an HBO fighter though cuz I heard Finkle was tied with Showtime.

For those who doesn't know the whole story . . . Marty Elorde's contract expired last January 29, so no big FUZZ about PAC signing in Finkel. Marty was not DROPPED or fired in the middle of his contract that should be clear. Pac didn't renew Marty because obviously Pac recent the fact that 30% of his purse goes to a manager who doesn't even lift a finger and spend time to attend to his needs as a fighter.

For the author to say that Marty seemingly have done an excelent job of managing pacquiao doesn't know the facts.

As to Murad being dropped, let's all wait for facts before we react. As far as I know Manny is still binded for another fight with M&M promotions after his fight with Eric, so if this story is confirm true Pac is aligning himself to a lawsuit from Murad.

            That's fairly accurate.

One negative I see on this new manager, as m00ks pointed out...isn't he tied with Showtime? HBO is a lot better, pac will be missing big time away from HBO.

Pacman is really moving up. He's not only moving up in weight but his business acumen is moving up also.

The only thing I could not understand is why he looked so alone in this decision. Of course Roach was there. But from his own kind, no one but himself. I guess its the story of his life. He alone could make the move like when he started being a boxer.

I like HBO but maybe Pacman is what Showtime really needs.
