david benavidez is going to be an exciting fighter, win or lose. he's still got growing and improving to do, but the kid can punch and has finishing skills / killer instinct that is developed at this stage, but not taught.

i love the little step he takes to the side when he's finsshing. it helps him stay out of teh way of the bombs coming back, but that's not wht he does it . kid is just happy to be able to beat somebody up more effectively


can't wait until he's ready. LHW is a very exciting division when the stars align. great skills that you don't see at HW all the time. most of the guys can punch, and the punchers can usually put you right out.

Kid looks class. Love how natural and loose he is with punches.

Would like to see him in with someone who gives him some trouble defensively. His brother Jose Jr has some bad defensive habits exposed at world level despite being a good fighter himself.

He'll flesh out to cruiser when full grown but had he been born and raised in Mexico this big ass Indian woulda looked like Giovani Segura full grown! LOL!
