Wow what a sore loser. For anyone who didn't see this fight: This kid LOST his fight, clearly. He got outclassed, outboxed and tagged at his opponents will.

You lost, and everyone saw it.... There was no controversy...

Not that there isn't any corropution in AIBA, but certainly didn't make a difference here. Their statement at the bottom of this article is on point- once Lopez rewatches the fight, he'll realize that he lost.

Yes, Lopez was eating all those right hands with his hands down. No way he won the fight.

Agreed . Lopez was connecting a solid jab but was getting countered with the slapping right hand . The fighter from France connected about 80% of his rights and landed the final blows in most exchanges .

I haven't watched any of these, are the fights better without headgear?

Thats one way to get your name out there. Although in fairness I'd probably be upset if I lost to someone with a beak like this mfer & said some nutty **** myself in anger/disappointment.

Or just in general. This is a huge moment for these guys. Can't take anything anyone says THAT serious cuz of the emotions involved & whats on the line for them. My standard is not paying THAT much attention to anything a boxer says in the led up to a fight that is likely hype to sell the fight or immediately after the fight cuz of how big it is to win or lose a fight.

I'll have to watch the fight I missed it BUT NOTHING the AIBA does surprises me.

What a sore loser with a bum attitude. I'm glad this dude got eliminated. This American couldn't make the cut in USA boxing so he joined Honduras through his dad so he could go to Rio.

If he couldn't make the cut with USA boxing how the heck did this bum expect to make it on the world stage in the Olympics with Honduras.

With this attitude no wonder Honduras didn't want him on their team. This guy got what he deserved.

Teofimo Lopez (the bum) actually won the US trials. Balderas is the one representing USA in Rio because he qualified through the WSB. That was the first time that a boxer who has won the trials isn't selected in the olympic team.
