by David P. Greisman - When the Olympics begin in two weeks, the best athletes from nearly 200 countries will compete for the right to be recognized as the greatest in the world. A precious few among them will be honored. The rest will be humbled. That's what happens every time any participant in a competitive pursuit steps up to the next level...

Crawford = latter year Mayweather with more pop. If he goes to 147 his pop will be less effective and the incoming will be much worse than what Postol had on offer.
Still, lets see it. I'll tune in but wouldn't pay for that style unless he was up against a similar level talent.
Rigondeaux can fight in the pocket. The shame is he doesn't always do so.

This fight kinda reminded me of Floyd-JMM. You had two natural counterpunchers in there. And you had one going outta him comfort zone, taking the initiative to lead, and looked very nad doing so. The difference in the two fights is that JMM was the smaller man and couldn't afford to stay on thr outside and wait. Floyd was bigger, longer, faster, and quicker. He would have gladly stayed on the outside and jabbed and pot shoted his way to a decision win. Postol wasn't the quicker fighter. But he was taller and longer. I just don't understand why he allowed Crawford to lure him into following him around the ring walking into counters all night. Postol should have planted his feet in the middle of the ring, and not moved an inch. So what if the crowd boo'd. That would have forced Crawford to come to him, instead of visa versa.

B4 the fight i thought Crwaford was better then Postal. But everybody was hyping Postal up, saying Crawford wouldn't fight him because he was so much of a threat. So, i wanted the fight to happen. I payed for it no problem. But then, after the fight, and after Crawford not only won, but won almost every round. I was like, damn why did i pay for what i already knew was gonna happen?
Big ups to Crawford and elite fighter 100% and for
showing he is over and over. Haters keep hatin. LOL

Crawford is pure talent. A rare find in boxing. He's going to be ruling his division for a long time.
