Deontay Wilder is ranked the third best heavyweight in the world with a 93% KO ratio

    source: http://bit.ly/29FhuvR

"After his win, Deontay has been ranked as the third best heavyweight boxer in the world by many boxing publications, including The Ring Magazine and Boxrec. The only two boxers who are ranked above him are Tyson Fury and Wladimir Klitschko. Deontay Wilder has boosted his undefeated record to 37-0, with an astonishing 97.2% knockout ratio."

    Thoughts?
I place him above Tyson Fury but below Wladimir Klitschko. 97% knockout ratio holy crap. Mike Tyson's KO ratio is 88%

yeah man Deontay Wilder is the real deal. I think after a few more wins and a few more losses for Wladimir, Deontay will be the rank 1 heavyweight in the world.

I think Wilder beats Fury, but can't rank him ahead of the man who beat the man. Until Wlad shows he was really done it's hard to rank him above him either. Arguments can be made to whether Wilder or Povetkin should be ranked higher, but Deontay is no lower than 4th.

yeah my top 3 for heavyweights are

              1. Wladimir
              2. Deontay
              3. Tyson

but its so close and one win or one more loss can change my mind

Can't stand Fury, but until Wlad beats him he can't rank ahead. Jmo.

Joshua is better than him, IMO. Same for Ortiz.

He hasn't done enough to be rated higher than Fury or Wladimir.

Heck, he hasn't done enough to be ranked higher than even Povetkin.

As far as I'm concern, he's top 6 but not above those guys I named, except Ortiz and Joshua in terms of record (although I think he loses to both).

Yea, that's where I'm at on that. Had the Povetkin fight worked out, there would be an argument but Deontay's best win is Stiverne vs Tyson who has a win over Wlad. Their resumes are similar otherwise. Wilder really needs a big win (or Tyson needs a loss) before Wilder passes Tyson on the rankings.

And, I say that as someone who believes Wilder would finish Fury.
