No need to get salty with what Postol says. We'll soon see if he's right. That's the beauty of commenting on fights that will actually happen, as opposed to fantasy fights where anyone can pretty much say the darnedest thing and have no way of getting owned.

I would have picked Crawford over Matthysse last year when Postol fought Lucas.

Matthysse is a tough customer but has always been beatable by the top level guys.

Still picking Crawford to pull out a win in a very tough and trying fight with Postol.

Edit: but credit where credit is due- I wouldn't have picked Crawford to win via KO. Postol stopped a VERY sturdy guy in Matthysse- but he was coming off of that war with Provodnikov. Lucas could definitely go ahead call it a career with the fights he's been in.

I don't like Postol's style. It's more tuned to the hit and not get hit, boring, disengaging, clinching, no hope for a toe to toe exchange. But at least he had one step up fight with Matthysse.

So I'm 50/50 on this one. Don't care who wins.

I agree, I consider Matthysse a better fighter than Crawford. Crawford isn't what people think he is.
