Arum's comments are on the front page as regards to Vargas. Don't you have to have a fight signed to pull out of it? You mean he was offered to fight Bradley for a vacant title under what were probably terrible terms and refused? Or maybe he did bit(h out, who cares. I don't think Golovkin is bad. I think he's quite good. But his mediocre opposition is not a good measure of his talent. This is boxing PLENTY of guys look invincible until they face good opposition and Genady has never faced good opposition.

Seriously I'm not going to bother to continue arguing the point but you don't become world champion if you aren't any good. Geale unified the WBA/IBF titles, Lemiuex was IBF champion, Murray only lost in world title fights until he faced Golovkin. Hate as much as you want, GGG can f***ing fight and he has faced very good opposition. Trust me I was a GGG hater once.

Even if we were to believe Hearn, who says Brook is elite-level talent, that gets stymied by the fact that he will be sorely outclassed in size & power by GGG. He will be subjected to the same result of GGG's last 20 opponents. As far as the boxing goes, this is a stay-busy fight for GGG...collect a check & move forward. The added bonus will be he makes a few British fans along the way. It's up to people to choose if they want to watch it or not. At least it's not ppv.
