Former world champions and current champions in Daniel Geale, Lemieux and Rubio were made to look ordinary, such is the skill of GGG. Martin Murray? The only man to stop him was GGG. I don't think Golovkin is bad. I think he's quite good. But his mediocre opposition is not a good measure of his talent. This is boxing PLENTY of guys look invincible until they face good opposition and Genady has never faced good opposition.

The funny thing about GGG haters is that they have to hate on all GGG's opponents. Because GGG is a bum beater obviously all his opponents are bums. All his past opponents are bums and all his future opponents will be bums. If he crushes Canelo then Canelo wasn't a MW, if he crushes Ward (unlikely) it would be because Ward had too long out of the game, if he crushes anyone there is going to be an excuse. GGG is no fool. He accepted this huge challenge because he knows history has shown that undefeated welterweight champions who challenge Middleweight champions have risen to the occasion and been destined for greatness. GGG will not get caught off guard like Gene Fullmer did when Sugar Ray Robinson moved up and KO'd him for the middleweight belt. This is a throwback fight.
