Canelo was a star while he was fighting cab drivers because of his looks, he took one risk in dropping all that weight against Mayweather and what is the famous quote "I will never do that again" that is the only risk Canelo has actually taken in his career. Boxrec is pretty indicative of the facts. Golovkin can get all the shhh ya'll give him over the brook fight, i'm right there with ya'll but don't use that shh as an excuse for Canelo popping off at the gums and then going full retraction. I'm still giving Golovkin and K2 shhhh over being suckered by Hearn but I will not give passes to Eubanks, Canelo, Jacobs, or Saunders who all need "A year to fight him".
    "ALL THAT WEIGHT?"

Lmao! You do realise that he only dropped one pound for the Mayweather fight right?

Lol, the guy weighed in at 153lbs in his last fight before facing Mayweather.

To describe 1 pound as "all that weight" is comical to say the least.

I have encountered MANY fans who LITERALLY classified that 1lb as a whole division.

      155 did not = a lame unprofessional JMW..... it = a middleweight !

      WTF?

That is LITERALLY going full ******.

Ass breath? Thats really all you can say? Why not just answer the question? What is your issue with black fighters? Are you still mad Floyd beat Manny? Do you need therapy? Upset that Ward would school and knock out your hero? What's the deal really?

Not sure what your issue is, think you missed the point of what i'm saying but yes 1 pound isn't shhh but to hear the cotto fans talk about him losing a pound to fight Pacquaio you'd think they asked him to come in legless.

"The guy who won't fight or the guy who says "fk politics" come fight me."

GGG fighting a 147lb fighter so its obv his not this honarble fighter people make him out to be (im not saying his bad).

It might take some time, but considering Canelo's history, he will fight GGG.
Levels above...you sure about that bro? Based on what? Personal opinion because you have no fact to back that up since they haven't fought. Let's stop assuming because quite honestly Trout hasn't turned out to be anything special at all. I give Lara the nod for his movement but that's about it.

I'm glad we agree but again people make it out like he went full drain mode to make that weight so they called it a risk. Losing to Floyd is not a loss like it is to another boxer, you lost to the best fighter in the world and that itself does more for your appearance to fans than anything you can do in the sport shy of beating him. That was not a risk, that was a win win situation for him.

Lil G owns 160-164. Get it right. Unless it's Mayweather or Chavez Jr or Ramirez or someone he thinks he can comfortably beat with gaining or losing weight then it's 154-168. Get the facts straight.

Hey ****** ass...Canelo owns 154, Krusher owns 175. GGG owns everything in between. coWard owned 168 until he ducked GGG like a child support bill and ran for his life up to 175 where he will NEVER face Krusher anyway. Maybe another Rocky movie will get made.

yeah one notable win combined and that's about all (with the exception of Floyd), so what pretty much two Zab Judah's...wait no that's an insult to Zab considering his resume. Unless you are tossing Mosley in there who by my estimation was a better fighter than both even at his washed up stage. Shy of Floyd that's Canelo's best opponent to date. We can talk about the Josesito Lopez too since he's found some names.
