Comments Thread For: Jessie Vargas' Return Being Worked On, In The Mix For Pacquiao?

As of a few days ago, promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport was attempting to finalize two big title fights for the fall. The first would see Kell Brook defend his IBF welterweight title in a unification showdown with WBO welterweight champion Kell Brook. The second would see British middleweight champion Chris Eubank Jr. take a serious step up in class by fighting IBO/WBA/IBO/IBF middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin.

Vargas would probably be willing to fight in Manila. Could be a casual outing for Pacman. Leave his office for lunch, put a hurting on Vargas, go back and vote on a foreign policy bill. All in a days work, eh?

I already reached out to Bradley, told him to put a bug in Arum's ear to get that Garcia fight....mend the bridge so everyone makes that money kind of a thing. Told him to go after Garcia then aim for Thurman.

If it happens in a month or so, you guys can thank me.

Pac vs Vargas would be a horrible mismatch.

Match Vargas up with one of the PBC boys, Thurman, Porter or Garcia. Or if you wanna keep it in house, Ponomarev or Benavidez would be good.
