Hassan is a good boxer, but I'm not down with pro's competing, unfair advantage over the young lions who want to prove their worth so they can impress promoters and maybe get signed into prizefighting

Eh, if they allow professional amateurs like a lot of Eastern European and Cuban boxers who stay in the system til their late 20's/early 30's then why not pro's. A young amateur is at a disadvantage either way.

Thing is, nobody with anything to lose will do this and risk getting beaten by an amateur. 3 rounders is a different game, many of these guys are very skilled as well. It's only guys that can't get a decent purse that'll try this

It should be noticed that the pros are competing 20lbs over their Pro weight. N'dam is competing at 178, but he is a career MW. The pro game is heavily based on re hydration.
