Super middleweight Niko Valdes (2-0, 2 KOs) won by knockout at the beginning of the fourth round over Michael Andrews. Valdes landed at will and seemed to stun Andrews (0-2) at least once in each of the first three rounds. Golden Boy Promotions does it again! This is what happens when a Gold Medal winner fights the best and beats the best then turns promoter as opposed to a Bronze Medal Loser who shuck and jived his way through a graveyard of ex-greats and somehow manages to take the highest paid fighter in the world (himself) and make his final (ha) fight a promotional flop LOL. Golden Boy forever, Bronze Boy NEVER!

Negrete is a good fighter who continues to improve fight by fight. In my opinion he should fight for a regional bout by the end of the year and position himself to get ranked in the Top 15 in one of the organizations.

Sanchez has been developed very well by Manny Robles. I can see him fighting for a regional belt by the beginning of next year. As you see guys like Jo Jo Diaz, Julian Ramirez, Abraham Lopez, Ronnie Rios, and eventually Diego De La Hoya graduate to fighting on HBO. Sanchez will be the next guy Golden Boy develops at featherweight through the LA Fight Club series.

Valdez looks like a future Super Star with a ton of ability. He's going to be fast track probably like Jason Quigley. Look forward to see his career progress.
