Comments Thread For: Arum: Manny Pacquiao Wants To Fight Again, Not Sure He Can Yet

The retirement of Manny Pacquiao could be very short-lived. This past April, Pacquiao announced his retirement from the sport after winning a twelve round unanimous decision over Timothy Bradley in their trilogy bout at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

I'd like to see him fight Thurman...but not very interested in watching him fight Broner.

Many will probably disagree, but a fight with Broner would be a mismatch. There is no one on AB's resume to make me think that he could be competitive against Manny. He has a lot of ability and potential, but it has never been displayed consistently when it counted in big fights. If the Manny that just defeated Bradley shows up, he KO's AB.

Pacquiao vs. Broner is a PPV blockbuster! Classic "good vs. evil" battle, WWE with boxing gloves! However, it's sad to see that Arum and Roach are not trying to convince Manny to stay retired, but instead, they're trying to convince him to continue. Hasn't Manny done enough? Doesn't he have enough money???
