  • Comments Thread For: Keith Thurman-Shawn Porter: Pre-Fight Report Card

by Cliff Rold - Saturday night (CBS, 9 PM EST), we find out if the wait was worth it. After talking about fighting late last year, and then pushing the fight back following a car accident for Keith Thurman, we arrive at an interesting fight in an interesting time at welterweight. Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao still loom over the division, no one really believing either has had their last fight

Big mouth Thurman beats Short Port via decision crowd boos

Big mouth mini man munchkin Thurman will beat Short Port on a decision. Bet the midget half man Thurman to win like 117-111 in a no brainer as Short proved against Kell Brook that Port isn't that good against a fighter with a fricking jab. Thurman horse tail hair and all wins easy, But Port the short gets the Kell Brook rematch in the UK. Garcia and Thurman is a must if the Harlem pimp slimy al haymon agrees and consents from his ****** throne of trash sending grinning sammy yo mammy the servant yessa master yes boy for slimy al haymon and his two chimps to clog up the ring with their stench.

I'm not a fan of either guy. Even though Porter is by far the more likeable of the two. Thurman is extremely annoying. So I'll be rooting for Porter.

That said, Thurman winning is better for the division, and boxing. Porter pretty much got his ass handed to him by Brook. So you automatically have to put him a rung below what you consider the top guys at 47. So a Thurman win creates a very intriguing match-up with the Brook-Vargas winner. Plus, I don't know how much time Porter has left at the 47 limit. But a win here could definitely go a long way in springboarding and creating excitement for his inevitable move to jr middleweight.

I am not a fan of neither but I hope Porter triumphs......only comment was was about the rust ...if 1 know boxing rust comes off in the gym not the night of the fight...rust is removed from hard training and attention to detail during preparation...
