I forget he returned to boxing after losing twice in a row and showed his heart of a champion. Such a great come back. He laid down and called it a day after he collected enough money to retire in the height of his career.

Maidana already had full career. Relax. It doesn't matter who he comes back to beat, he won't get a chance at mayweather again. Chino showed heart throughout his whole career in the actual ring. It's not a lack of heart to come back and fight for people like you. It takes a bigger man to know when to walk away and make a difference in the people who mean the most to him (wife and kid).

Cashed out with 2 Floyd payday fights. Made enough money to live comfortably. Seems happy and no longer has the fire to stay in shape or train. He's done even if he comes back it will likely be because he ran out of money and is fighting for a check and will be a shadow of who he once was. The maidana we knew is gone. If he's happy he doesn't owe it to fans to keep fighting.

Maidana did was most boxers hope to do. Retire young, faculties intact and rich.

          Good for him.

I always wonder why anyone expects a boxer to 'officially' retire. Again, it's his business... and it really means what? It isn't like that weight division is being held up by his decision. Let him live his life.
