    Nearly six years of legal matters between All-Star Boxing and the tag team of Golden Boy Promotions and Saul Canelo' Alvarez has finally reached a resolution. At least until the appeal process puts it all back in motion.

    Canelo got off easy. If he broke contact, they certainly lost out on more than 8.5mill.
    I'd actually consider this a victory.

          Actually, Rafael says ruling was against Canelo:

          Jury in Florida awarded All-Star Boxing $8.5 million in its lawsuit against Canelo Alvarez. Jury found Golden Boy didn't owe All-Star Boxing a dime. Spokesperson said Canelo will appeal the decision.

            I dunno, they got less than 1/3 of what they were asking for so I don't think he would have done any better settling. Plus, settling sets a bad precedent, invites more litigation.
