Comments Thread For: David Price Returns in Style With Quick Knockout Victory

David Price made a successful return to his home city. The Liverpool heavyweight hadn't fought there in almost three years but took less than two completed rounds to end the challenge of his opponent, exclusively live on Sky Sports.

David Price is closing in on Audley Harrison's title as Greatest British boxer Ever. I don't think he will ever lose.

Price has the skills to give any heavyweight a run. If Caldwell can work on his ring smarts like he has the McDonnell brothers then he can still be a force in the division.

Lol he was getting tagged by the fat journeyman tonight if it was a proper heavyweight with more than 50% KO ratio Price would be staring into space again

Still like pricey to fight taller and work more on his jab, he's just too cagey and always looks like he lacks confidence in the ring. His defense is terrible, he was getting tagged by this whatever opponent and was holding him a couple times. Couldn't help to think this would have been a repeat of the Erkan Teper fight had the guy had some power and Price talking about fighting Joshua is delusional, he'll never be on that level regardless. Price needs to be realistic about his career options and there'll always be the feeling he will end up getting KTFO again when stepping up.

                Price has power and size
he needs to develop his clinching skills, improve his jab and right hand and become the next Wlad in terms of fighting style.

That's the only way he'll get far with that glass jaw of his

His chin is much worse than Wlad's chin. Wlad has gone down easily but the Sanders blitz aside he has largely been clear headed. Price has a glass jaw and I don't care if he develops a style close to Wlad's he will never go on a run that won't end up with a highlight reel ko on Youtube.

Ps I don't even think he is good enough to jab and grab like Wlad as he is much more stiff than Wlad was in his prime.
