I'm not as sure of that as you are. Even if Toney can still do well on the inside for a long 12 rounds, it's not going to help him if the refs let Ruiz cheat and smother him to death.

All I'm saying is, given their styles, I would not be surprised at all if Ruiz won.

Toney and Hopkins are both so good at going the distance because they are so relaxed in the ring. When you can fight at a slow pace or at least keep your muscles relaxed, your heart doesn't beat as fast, giving you a lot more energy down the stretch.
That being said both these guys would be very vunerable to a quick fighter who made them run around from the start to the end, even if he wasn't a great fighter.
