    I call BS.
Eddie has been bitter with khan since Paul mcloskey, it's not just khan vs Brook, its Khan vs Brook and khan vs Hearn, I would reiterate this has a long history with all 3, and frankly a lot it b!tching.

Probably why they are pretend mates, nothing like bonding over an enemy.

More smoke and mirrors from Khan. Basically, if Brook unifies against Vargas, that's two straps, and nothing more Amir can say about the unified WW champ.

Cue the next great excuse to avoid getting knocked out by Kell: Sir Edward Hearn, not everyone's favourite promoter but the man who would be wholly responsible for Brook's unified status, if that were to happen. So why would Khan suggest such a ridiculous notion as Kell and Hearn splitting? Because he knows it ain't happening anytime soon.

I've said it before Amir, you will make a great cult leader once you decide to hang your chin up. Though I'm not sure who will be the more deluded - you or your followers.

It's brooks jealousy and cowardice plus Hearns lies and trickery.

Simply put, Amir is scared of a loss he can't make an excuse for. There would be no reason that he could write off for losing to Brook. Not an "I wasn't motivated" not a "he was too large, and I dared to be great", nothing. It would be him losing to a better fighter at his weight class in the biggest homecoming fight he could have. Amir is not ready for that so he will never take the fight.

Exactly this^^^^. I think that's how Brook should approach the situation as well, forget Khan. A step in that direction is the Vargas fight. After that move on to bigger and better things and don't even mention Khan, he has done absolutely nothing at welterweight.

I agree it's healthy and correct for Brook to move on.

But please explain why Brook could not have done this 1 year ago, or 2 years ago, or 3 years ago....

If you just pause for a second you should realise some are justifying one man's obsession with another man for a good part of his adult life, really odd.

And before you say, I didn't like Khan chasing mayweather so hard, but you can look at that one somewhat more favourably cos it's the payday he wants.
