It was bound to happen. 4 champions, and only 2 contenders. Who is Wilder going to fight next? Who ever it is can ask for extra, because of the contender shortage.

Wilder spent money for sparring partners and to fly over to England to get acclimated.

Povetkin's cheating ass should reimburse him since this fight fell through because of his actions.

Man I totally agree. This ish is gonna continue to hurt the sport until they enforce the loser to pay for expenses incurred by clean fighter, plus a lil extra. That 715,000$ in escrow for the winner should go to wilder!

Anyone got any idea a training camp is costing? It seems like covering the costs of that is the first step in re-scheduling this fight.

Although at this point I think if I'm with Wilder's team I try to move things along cuz Povetkin has pushed this fight out once or twice already iirc + now this PED **** is gonna push it out I'd assume 1-3 months. And then what if Povetkin f#cks it up again with a PED result the week or the fight or an injury? I wanna see this fight but wtf with this guy. Also I think in a just boxing world, which we don't have, he'd be getting a suspension anyway & wouldn't be available to fight.

Povetkin also needs to pay for PEDs Wilder took and all IVs he had to pay for, as that money was wasted too.

Changed my mind on expecting this match to happen later, way this is worded 100%they are suing Povetkin.

I'm hoping there's some restitution available in the fight contract for Wilder's staff. If not, Ryabinsky better do the smart thing and make them happy.

This just sucks bad all around.

If Sasha suffers nothing from this, and if the fight does get a green light later, Wilder should demand more money as compensation.

Good on VADA for doing their job and Sulaiman for nixing the fight.
