Comments Thread For: Tim Bradley Eyes Ring Return, Wants Biggest Name Possible

Former two-division world champion Timothy Bradley is looking for the biggest name possible when he returns to the ring later this year. Bradley was in action last month, when he was dropped twice and lost a twelve round unanimous decision to Manny Pacquiao in their trilogy showdown from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

A nice extended rest was needed after that last fight plus that kind of payday. Good to see him handling the post fight better this time around. Welcome back champ.

Hmm.. I have a feeling Bradley vs. Cotto at 154 will go down. It would be a big fight for both, especially coming off loses. Add some undercard, it could be a PPV for a lower price.

Gotta love Bradley. This guy has fought everyone from 140-147 and keeps on going, going, going. Look forward to many more from him. He is trouble for anyone in the division.

I wonder who the big fish are that Bradley is alluding to. I think fighting Canelo at 155 would be a mistake. It would be high risk high reward but its an unfavorable style clash for Tim. He would have a hard time affecting Canelo with his punches and would be giving away height/reach. Hopefully he goes after Cotto instead. That match up is more favorable. I think he can get a decision over Cotto despite the size advantage. If he avoids the left hook to the body I think his athleticism will give Cotto problems. A fight with Khan would also be lucrative and I think he would give Amir a lot to deal with.
