Comments Thread For: LIVE Top Rank Results: Andy Ruiz Batters Ray Austin

Heavyweight Andy Ruiz scored a knockout win after the fourth round when his opponent Ray Austin did not answer the bell for round five. Ruiz (27-0, 18 KOs) dropped Austin with a right hand to the head with about a minute left in round one. Ruiz was able to get on the inside of Austin's long reach, landing repeatedly with combinations to the head and body.

Another pathetic card with prospects going against hapless, helpless, no-hoper setups courtesy of Top Skank. What's new, besides nothing.

Impressive win for Ruiz, Ray Austin is one of the best out there. Ray Austin would knock Wilder, Fury and Joshua out in one night.

Ruiz is the true Fatman of the division, Fury is just a false fatty.

The poor state of this division if Austin is considered a step up.. Ruiz needs quality, w/his fast hands and some body punches, if he was in another division, as a WW 4 example, he would be considered B fighter, at the most...he has a long way to go in a weak division...
