Comments Thread For: Gabe Rosado Confirms Chavez Jr. Fight in Play, Waits on Details

In recent days on social media, there have been some rumblings of a summer super middleweight clash between former WBC 160-pound world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and the always dangerous Gabe Rosado.

I'll be very interested to see if this fight happens because one I think Rosado beats Chavez with ease and two that means Golden Boy is willing to do business on the other side of the tracks.

Which as a boxing fan is great. Hopefully that gives a little indication that their legal battles with Al Haymon are coming to an end.

I think this is a very solid fight. Rosado is very tough and has some skills to go with his toughness. How well he deals with Chavez' size will be the difference between winning and losing for Gabe. IMO

This fight is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, but it could be a decent scrap. The size difference will be readily apparent.

i know he has fought at 160, but rosado is more of a natural 154 lber and chavez is a big 168 lber. Are they fighting at 168?

Rosado, in my opinion, is a brave loser.

He faced good opponents howver he has 9 defeats.

              Not a big deal.

Rosado says that 168 is no problem, so that's probably the designated weight. Rosado outweighed Quillin on fight night and he looked bad in his last LMW bout against Charlo. The only one he'll drain himself for is probably Canelo.

Don't like the fight because if Rosado doesn't border running, he's getting stopped.

No one wants to see Chavez Jr anymore.
Is he still even worth a paycheck?
