Nope, he didn't. He never came on the scales under 159 as a pro.

Wonder what will be the split if they do agree.. All the below seems fair..
    160 - 70/30
    158 - 60/40
    157 - 55/45

The purse bid split is already decided I guess 55/45 (http://www.boxingscene.com/canelo-go...-begin--104413)

Does this purse bid split also consider the new rule of winner takes the step aside 10%..

    anyone??

    70-30 @160. Make it happen.

If it doesn't come off, Canelo has options. Can't say the same for Golovkin.

Not this argument again. History shows the A-side get what they want, or you get left like Winky Wright. If GBP/Canelo are even generous enough to budge 2lbs, that would be a big deal, and a deal GGG/K2 should accept with no hesitation. If he wants to Winky his career, just decline a catchweight and wait for Canelo to get stripped

He said 160, so now it's about the $$$$. And GGG seems like there wanting a purse bid. That's gonna kill the fight. GGG 97k PPV buys aren't worth no FKN 55/45 split.
That's the purse bid by WBC. K2 said they don't want it to go there. K2 never lied to fans, Canelo did right after Cotto, saying he was ready, but fought khan. But don't let facts get in the way.

I think if GGG refuses to come down and gets the WBC belt because Canelo gets stripped, there's some fights Canelo can take in the meantime, other MW's will probably accept a catchweight of 157 or so for the money Canelo brings. Maybe we get Canelo vs Saunders at a cw.

I hope Canelo-GGG come to an agreement at 157, maybe make a compromise. Canelo budges 2lbs, Golovkin budges 3lbs, sounds fair.

This will end up going to a purse bid as a way out for one side.

    Purse split

I think around 60-40 would be fair. If it went to bid the split would be 55-45. Khan got a nice payday and ggg should make more then him. This is the biggest fight for both con-ggg to make.

Judging from the latest vibes Canelo doesn't seem to have issues with 160.. fight just needs to be made.
