Comments Thread For: Malignaggi: It'd Be Very Hard for Danny Garcia To Beat Amir Khan

As previously reported on BoxingScene.com, Amir Khan (31-4, 19KOs) will be looking for revenge in the fall. Last Saturday night, Khan moved up by eight pounds to challenge WBC middleweight champion Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (47-1-1, 33KOs) at a catch-weight of 155-pounds. The HBO Pay-Per-View fight headlined the very first boxing event at the brand new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

I hope Paulie gets a shot at the European welterweight championship soon. Bundu needs to stop ducking.

Question. When a fighter suffers a brutal KO usually the question is will he ever be the same, right? Usually that would be a thread or two on here. Khan's button has been hit seriously twice and danny hit as well. Vic ortiz is a good example he just cant take a punch anymore. Who is to say khan can still take a punch? If danny hits khan the way hit lucas, khan would be out cold. Khan v brook is a better fight. Khan is about the money and brook would generate much more money in the UK. We all know mayweather if he comes back is fighting garcia. Maybe i am wrong.

Paulie likes an underdog, but face it. Khan wins 3 or 4 rounds then out go the lights. History would lead me to bet everthing on Danny. Sooner or later Khan would "make a mistake", again.

It was easy the first time around when Garcia was green....now would be no different, dumped on a different side of the canvas maybe and a little quicker.

Stop calling this wanker a British superstar he's not he's a chinny little twat with a big mouth.

I would pay to see Paulie in with Kovalev thou and steam through what's left of ole glass jaw straight after.

Time will tell. Everytime Amir has been KO'd he's been going forward, maybe 12 rounds of jabbing and straight right hands..or pay attention to what Herrera did and nullify Garcia by not giving him the space he needs to power punch.

I disagree with Paulie. I think Danny KO's Khan again especially if this is Khan's next fight. Khan needs a good year to recover from that KO. He needs to fight a couple of feather fisted WW's before getting in with the guys at the top of the division. Khan fighting Swift this soon after getting KO'd will be like RJJ fighting GCJ after getting KO'd by Tarver. Another KO in the making.
