100% agree. And honestly with the hangover post Mayweather-Pacquiao, you could make an argument that this fight would settle around 700-800K.

Floyd got paid $32 for Guerrero and both Maidana fights. Those three fights did around 800-900K and it was reported that Showtime lost between $5-10 million on each of those fights. If they give him $100M for Garcia, they'll stand to lose $50-60M on one fight alone.

So I don't believe that Floyd is being offered $100M for one fight. It's either going to be another contract for maybe 2-3 fights, or Floyd is just flat out lying about what is being offered.

thats what i dont get. he is an undefeated world chmp. you cant say it is a bs fight. i dont think it will be a huge money draw, but definitely not a case of cherry picking

Well yeah, you're gonna be at a disadvantage against Floyd regardless, whether it be physically, or from a skills stand point, but Brook has a very good style to pose some problems for Floyd, and unlike Lara, he can fight in the pocket, and not just that cuban amateur style.

But of course, Lara doesn't have to worry about Floyd's power like Canelo, so him ****ing in the pocket might favor him, but Floyd can also wear him out with the body shots, and slickness inside.

I see it like, Brook and Lara having the best shot to make it competitive, and potentially beating him.

Garcia's not big enough for a $100m fight so if he did come back for that it would definitely be a multiple-fight agreement.

But I'd rather Mayweather retire on top and let the young boys do their thing. Garcia in my opinion is a darkhorse to claim the crown. In spite of what people say about cherry-picking, he is the most battle tested welter out of the new wave of fighters. Sure he's had a few close calls but who hasn't? Not surprising when you look at the quality of fighters he's faced. And the Guerrero performance suggests to me that he's not only entering his physical prime but is is also an intelligent, mentally strong champion.

Maybe it's destined for Floyd to come back. Garcia looks like a style mismatch but he isn't an easy out for anybody and who knows? Perhaps the torch is passed in the ring. In case you haven't noticed, Mayweather is fading fast. But for now, I hope all this is chatter and maybe a way for Haymon, through Mayweather, to big Garcia up and get him some more light. Doesn't sound like it though.

Of course Floyd will fight Garcia, because he knows it's an easy win. Like Jeff said, whomever his nephew fights, Floyd will get a big payday, because he won't fight for anything less. Garcia has problems with boxers & Floyd is a great boxer. Hardcore fans of the sport who want to see Floyd truly tested, with a real possibility of him losing, will not buy this fight. His fans will eat it up, though.

And if you payed attention in the Guerrero fight, Robert was getting away with murder in the ring. He was using his head like a 3rd arm. Made the fight that much harder for Danny, and he still won. Passed with flying colors, and showed he can truly deal with adversity.

The head butts made Danny hesitant to move in certain spots, and prevented him from punching when he wanted to at times as well. Robert's an incredibly dirty fighter.

Danny is just an easy 12-0 decision win for Floyd. Boring...and I'm someone who would like it if Floyd came back.

Also no way in he11 does Floyd get 9 figures from a Danny fight

Its probably gonna be Danny. Danny beat khan. Pacquiao had his chance, and Floyd already whooped Canelo

I don't think so he is coming back, but if he is, certainly he will prefer Manny with more $, over someone other from boxing world. I don't think other boxer can create so much hype. as Floyd VS Manny fight can create.
