He wasn't being serious doe. It was just a bit of banter ... you know, like when Andre Ward challenged Floyd to fight him at 160.Comment

No ... please no ... not Ricky .. it hurts so much when he laughs at me ..You silly wanker.
Andre Ward was only joking when he said he couldn't make 164 for L'il g string. If he could have made 160 for Floyd, then obviously 164 wouldn't have been a problem.
You silly pakstain ... Mrs Golovkin ... casual fanboi ... Ricky Gervais is laughing his cock off at you!!

Don't be ridiculous.
The situation with Ward was nothing more than silly twitter-banter.
It was NEVER mentioned outside that context.
Not to Hunter, not to RN, not to Ellerbe/Haymon, they all would have laughed..... come on son.
But Team Bull**** on the other hand..... they have pursued Mayweather RELENTLESSLY in the media, fans have even accused him of begging for that fight.
Nobody wants to see a Mayweather vs. Pacquiao rematch ... so says boxing superstar Gennady Golovkin who says if Floyd wants to come back, he should call GGG instead.
WBA/IBO/IBF middleweight world champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin has opened the door to a fight with the recently retired Floyd Mayweather - should the self-proclaimed ‘TBE’ return to the ring.
Golovkin and his camp have been mentioning the possible fight against Mayweather since last year. Golovkin even indicated that he is willing to go down to 154 pounds in order to convince the 49-0 boxing superstar to come out of retirement.....
Gennady Golovkin could eventually get his “dream fight” against Floyd Mayweather, but the unbeaten middleweight champion needs to prove he deserves a shot at the former pound-for-pound king.
It is absurd to compare those two situations.
You are reaching baaadly, as usual.
kafkod, in your blind rage..... you GreenK'd me
Now you have to wait until you spread some reputation around LMAO

Beat everyone from 154 but did he really meant making 154?
And if that's case, it's not a real argument, fact is GGG is a 160 fighter and never fought below.Comment

No GTFOH yourself broDUDE, that conversation took place between the OFFICIAL representatives of both parties LMFAO
And yet, somehow..... the twitter-banter between 2 fighters who were needling each other over Robert Guerrro, and who just-so-happen to be THREE DIVISIONS apart..... was ?
GTFOH
LMAO..... you guys would prefer to cut one of your own fingers off rather than admit that Golovkin ducked Ward.
It just can't be GGG is the one ducking Nelo at 155 then he's the one ducking Ward for asking himself a CW 164.
It can't be like that.
Twitter is bullsht, I can call out Klitschko on twitter for a sparring session.
Then say he ducked me because it didn't happen.Comment

"Yes but Lemieux's attacks are kinda predictable for an elite fighter."
I meant predictable TO an elite fighter/GGG
GGG could see everything coming from Lemieux, Lemieux never was able to surprise GGG, Canelo would, he can feint, mix it up.Comment

In no way is GGG obligated to fight him at 155, so if he says no, then fine and WBC needs to strip canelo.
HOWEVER, I think its in GGG's best interest career wise, money wise and legacy wise to take the fight at 155, he should be able to cut the weight fine, hes smaller than canelo on fight night.
Im tired of listening to GGG and camp's bull**** about nobody wanting to fight him at 160, fact is there are no big names at 160, there is canelo at 155 and Ward at 168 and GGG wants none of it. If WBC strips canelo and GGG fights some cab driver to get the title.... who is going to care? how is that going to make GGG more money?
Look at guys like Hopkins, Floyd, Haye ect. They all took some type of risk or gave in to some type of demands of more popular fighters to progress their career.
Hopkins dropped weight to fight oscar, jumped up to 175 and took on some really big names late in his career and his resume is far better for it. If hopkins stayed at 160 in the weak division after the taylor losses, he would not be rated as highly as he is now. he also would have made less money.
Floyd gave up everything in the negotiations with oscar, he beat him and then he became the star that can make the demands.
If haye stayed at cruiserweight the rest of his career he would have made a small fraction of what he made at heavyweight.
GGG's 35 and his resume is weak, hes got the ability to not only be p4p higher but also to make way more money. He can either fight Canelo or Ward or he can stay at 160 fighting cab drivers, his choice but stop *****ing already because its old.Comment

Come on man.
What, he was just talking, for the sake of talking ?
Team Bull**** have hoodwinked the fans, just like Ward said.
Some fans can see that now, and some fans are in denial.Comment
