  • Comments Thread For: Ellerbe Blasts Scoring for Badou Jack-Lucian Bute

Floyd Mayweather Jr. was unhappy with the judging for Badou Jack vs. Lucian Bute, in which two of the three scorecards had it a 114-114 draw while the third judge had Jack, Mayweather's fighter, as the 117-111 winner. Jack, too, was also of course unhappy.

Ellerbe and his boss the juicer are so full of themselves. And I wonder why no scribes even let out a peep anymore about the IV found at Floydie's place right before the Berto fight? Gee, bad memory?

As for this fight, it all depends on what you like in boxing style. Both fighters showed some skills, but the commentators saying Bute was crapola were daft IMO. I had it by 1 point for Jack, but a draw IMO isn't out of the question. Certainly I've seen way worse decisions... Lara/Williams comes to mind right off.

And British judges are always right on the money? Geez Ellerbe, you're full of wacko today aren't you there bubba? SMH

A lot of Bute's punches didn't have any snap and often hit gloves, especially those lite flurries. Jack was clearly the winner.
