Comments Thread For: Anthony Joshua-Dominic Breazeale Finalized For June 25th

Anthony Joshua MBE will make the first defence of his IBF World Heavyweight title against unbeaten American Dominic Trouble' Breazeale at The O2 in London on June 25. Joshua ripped took both the belt and unbeaten record of American Charles Martin at the same venue on April 9, and he'll be looking to take another '0' in his maiden defence.

Not a bad doubleheader. Look forward to Groves vs. Murray. Say what you want about Breazeale, he's beaten better fighters than Charles Martin and unlike Martin he was able to weather adversity against Mansour. He probably still gets knocked out in a few rounds by Joshua.

Niiiiiiiice, happy enough with this. Better than someone that's already been KO'd (Molina or Duhaupas) or is possibly past it (Stiverne). Slightly above tune-up level as Breazeale is close to getting a shot at a title. He needs to take on someone at championship level after this though. Fury or Wilder (if he makes it past Povetkin) would be a beaut.

        Shoud be a good matchup.
Breazeale is slow as sht and his defense is non-existant, but he comes to fight and can ****.

Im still pretty mad losing money on the mansour breazeale fight though

It was obviously always going to be him. Easily beatable, former Olympian, undefeated record. Great sell to the casuals.

BTW, check out the Wiki page for Breazeale. Seems his page is being hacked something fierce.

That's a solid fight to round out the card with. I'm not sure who'll win, and they both could sure use a W right about now.

murray is a decent fighter when he lets his hands go

just seems like every time he's in a big fight it affects him and he shells up

groves on points would be the safe bet but it should be a good one
