Comments Thread For: Krzysztof Glowacki Rides For Knockdowns To Outpoint Steve Cunningham

Krzystztof Glowacki made the first successful defense of his cruiserweight title, dropping former champ Steve Cunningham four times en route to a unanimous decision win Saturday evening at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Scores were 115-109 (twice) and 116-108 in favor of Glowacki, who advances to 26-0 (18KOs). Cunningham falls to 28-8-1 in a brave but unsuccessful bid at becoming a three-time cruiserweight champ.

Good fight, even if Boxnation lost 25% of it. Cunningham's a warrior but he looked like his best days are behind him tonight.

Good fight but time for Steve to retire he is better than this and in his heyday he would have took Glowacki I'm certain of it.

              Lmao how man?

He just fought Huck then followed up against a guy who is dangerous regardless of the age Steve is a great champion obviously he doesn't belong at heavyweight but he was a great fighter below the heavyweight division.

I don't believe Glowacki is that good but he will fight the people we want to see him fight perhaps a rematch with Huck will be on the cards but this time in Germany.

Glowacki is becoming an attraction. Two very exciting fights back to back.
