Comments Thread For: Marquez Delighted With Miguel Cotto Pushing Back, Eyes Fall Bout

Juan Manuel Marquez was pleased upon hearing the news that Miguel Cotto was pushing back his return to the fall. The Mexican veteran is very interested in facing Cotto, but he was unable to prepare in time to fight the Puerto Rican superstar in planned return date of June 18th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Just make the fight happen, nothing else happening in 2016 besides Ward vs Kovalev and Wilder-Povetkin.

They're not going to fight. They're both incredible divas, and Marquez is working under the delusion that the fight can happen at 147. Cotto is not going to agree to that. Marquez is going to continue to sit out, Cotto will fight some no-hoper, and boxing will continue to be painfully mediocre.

I can't see this fight happening @ 147! Maybe 150 which I think is too low for Miguel and too big for Marquez. I guess that's a fair fight. 60/40 for Cotto!

JMM is ordinary w/o Peds, he has no chance against Cotto.
