to be honest sounds like the person he bought it off is gonna be a problem in the future. Hes entire family lives their, the person who sold him the house is building another house right next to them (outside the property line) the son has his own land their, his daughter has their own land their. To me that just spells trouble its like a gated community where they gonna be trying to call the shots/rules on you, cant have music loud pass X amount etc etc and I am pretty sure thats what other buyers didnt like and turned it down.

1 million for a 3 bedroom house??? Cali's real estate sucks! You could live like a king for half that amount and have 2-3 times the number of rooms down South. The West coast real estate is horrible.
