    Shannon Briggs has revealed that a verbal agreement has been reached for him to fight David Haye. The former world champion will fight on the undercard of the Hayemaker's next fight at the O2 Arena on May 21 before taking on the former WBA heavyweight king (27-2, 25 KOs) later on this year.

                              I actually like this move by haye. It makes sense. He gets in a third training camp with his new trainer after being out the game for 3 1/2 years. It makes business sense too. Gets a third payday. And the buildup will be fun and entertaining. If haye is serious about being champ he needs to have as much time with his new trainer as possible.

                                  It is a good fight for Haye, he continues to tuneup after his long layoff but at least he does it against a more recognizable name than Gjergjaj.

                                  And it's good for Briggs because he finally gets a payday.
